Double degree partners

Faculty of Economics, Vilnius University introduce a possibility for Master programmes students to get a Double degree diploma in various partner universities. The collaboration is for International Business Economics and Management, Finance and Marketing and Integrated communication  study programmes. The students who successfully complete each University’s study program requirements and defend their Master Thesis will be awarded two diplomas – Vilnius University diploma and Partner University diploma.

University of Parma (Italy)

International Business Economics and Management

Vilnius University (further – VU) (Lithuania, Vilnius) study program International Business and Economics Management (IBEM) and University of Parma (UNIPR) study program International Business and Development agreed to collaborate in implementing the Master degree. The students who successfully complete each University’s study program requirements and defend their Master Thesis will be awarded two diplomas – Vilnius University diploma and University of Parma diploma

Study Process

In order to be eligible for receiving a diploma of University of Parma students must complete the needful number of ECTS credits. VU students will spend the fourth semester at UNIPR, where they will follow the courses and take the exams: 

Semester 4 (at UNIPR)      30 ECTS

Cooperation and Competition Among Firms 9 ECTS

Growth and History of Global Economy 9 ECTS

EU Policies and Projects 9 ECTS

International Financial Institutions and Markets 9 ECTS

International Branding and Retailing 9 ECTS

Communication Skills 3 ECTS

This courses are required to get the extra credits necessary for a Post-Graduate degree recognized by Italian Ministry. The courses will be in English.

Studies are organized during the period of one semester, and the Master Thesis must be written in English and may be defended in English at UNIPR according to the rules and requirements of UNIPR.

Tuition Fees and Insurance

The students shall pay tuition and/or registration fees at their home university (VU). All charges connected to travel, accommodation, etc., as well as health insurance, shall be covered by the students themselves. While studying abroad students shall be required to be insured against any incident and/or accident and/or any legal liability against damages, which they may involuntarily cause to and/or suffer during their study period abroad.

International Business Economics and Management

Study Process

In order to be eligible for receiving a diploma of UNISI students must complete the needful number of ECTS credits. VU students will spend the fourth semester at UNISI, where they will follow the courses and take the exams:

Semester 4 (at UNISI)      30 ECTS

Economics of Sustainable Development      6 ECTS

Financial Investments and Risks Management 9 ECTS

Master Thesis 9 ECTS

This courses are required to get the extra credits necessary for a Post-Graduate degree recognized by Italian Ministry. The courses will be in English.

Studies are organized during the period of one semester, and the Master Thesis must be written in English and may be defended in English at UNISI according to the rules and requirements of UNISI.

Submission of the Documents

All the documents of each student must be collected by VU and sent to UNISI no later than on 30th of September.

The documents to be submitted:

1. Application form.

2. Copies of previous education (Bachelor degree (university diploma) including grades (an academic transcript) in English language.

3. Copy of passport or other document of identification.

4. Certificate of attendance and Transcripts of “Finance Master program at Vilnius University”.
